Responsibilities
- Checking the buildings through CCTV systems and regular patrols to ensure the safety of the building and its people.
- Controlling access to buildings by checking IDs, permits, or visitor logs.
- Timely responding to emergencies like fire alarms, medical situations, or security breaches
- Immediately reporting incidents and maintaining daily activity logs for management and law enforcement.
- Applying the rules and regulations of the property to maintain order and law
- Checking and securing entrances and exits to avoid illegal access or theft.
- Assisting visitors with directions and safety-related precautionary measures.
- Inspecting and reporting threats and danger issues in the surroundings.
- Staying alert and watchful to detect any suspicious activity or behaviour.
Requirements
- Valid SIRA License (Security Industry Regulatory Agency). It is mandatory for most of the positions.
- Minimum educational qualification, usually a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical fitness and good health to stand for long working hours and respond quickly.
- Basic communication skills in English, like speaking, reading, and writing (knowing Arabic is a plus point)
- Experience in security or a related field is often preferred.
- Crystal clear criminal record and background verification.
- Professional appearance and grooming (often required for high-profile locations).
- Customer service skills and abilities to deal politely and effectively with the public.
- Age requirements are typically between 21 to 45 years old.
- Willingness to work on weekends and holidays. Readiness to work for night shifts is also mandatory.
