Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and timely transport of passengers, goods, or materials to assigned destinations.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance, like oil, tires, lights, to keep the vehicle in good condition.
- Follow all Qatar traffic rules and regulations to avoid charges and ensure safety.
- Select the most efficient routes using GPS and local knowledge to avoid traffic and delays.
- Maintain regular trip logs, delivery records, and vehicle inspection reports.
- Deal politely with clients or passengers, offering assistance when needed.
- Follow the schedules and ensure prompt pickups and deliveries.
- Inform the supervisor about vehicle problems or incidents immediately.
- Safely load and unload goods when required, especially in delivery or logistics roles.
- Follow the employer’s operational procedures and dress codes.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid license for the appropriate vehicle category, such as light vehicle, heavy vehicle, etc.
